Ethereal Decibel Festival – Our Values

At Ethereal Decibel Festival, we believe in building a space where music, freedom, and diversity can flourish. These values guide everything we do and shape the spirit we share with our audience, our artists, our teams, our volunteers, and our partners.

1. Respect, equality, and inclusion

We want every person to feel welcome, safe, and respected.
Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and all other forms of discrimination or hate speech have no place at our festival.
We celebrate a community that is open, kind, and inclusive of all identities.

2. Antifascist and antiracist stance

We stand firmly against far-right ideologies, nationalism, supremacism, and discrimination in all forms.
Electronic and psychedelic cultures were born from resistance, freedom, and diversity—and we proudly carry that heritage.

3. Solidarity with oppressed peoples

We acknowledge the struggles, injustices, and violence faced by oppressed communities around the world.
We stand with all peoples fighting for dignity, justice, equality, and liberation, without hierarchy or selective memory.

4. Against imperialism in all its forms

We reject cultural, economic, military, and religious imperialism.
We support solidarity between peoples and the freedom of territories facing colonial or neo-colonial domination.

5. Spirituality and belief: a place for everyone

Our festival welcomes all faiths and non-faith traditions—Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, animist, pagan, or none at all.
Everyone is free to believe, or not believe, as long as respect is the foundation.
Proselytism, exclusion, or placing one belief above another is not tolerated.

6. Fighting harassment and gender-based or sexual violence

We are committed to making our festival a safe space.
Gender-based or sexual violence, harassment, and intrusive behavior are firmly condemned.
We continuously work to improve our prevention, support, and response systems so that everyone can enjoy the festival freely.

7. Zero tolerance for violence or intimidation

Ethereal Decibel Festival is a place of dance, meeting, and connection.
Any form of physical or psychological violence, threats, or dangerous behavior is incompatible with our values.
We are dedicated to protecting our community—audience, staff, artists, volunteers, and partners alike.

8. Environmental commitment

We acknowledge the urgent reality of climate change and the impact of the event industry.
We are actively working to reduce our ecological footprint through responsible practices and sustainable choices.
Climate change denial has no place here—we choose responsibility over ignorance.

9. Flags and symbols

National flags are not allowed on the festival grounds.
However, we welcome flags and symbols that represent struggles for freedom, resistance, and emancipation—such as Palestine, Kanaky, Kurdistan, Western Sahara, Tibet, Chiapas (Zapatistas), Rojava, Indigenous Amazonian nations, and others.
These symbols are expressions of solidarity, not nationalism.

10. A community built together

These values are not only ours—they are yours.
Ethereal Decibel Festival is a collective space that we co-create with you.
We encourage everyone to uphold these principles, look out for one another, report harmful behavior, and contribute to building a festival environment rooted in freedom, joy, and mutual respect.
